Valentine's Day itself wasn't terribly exciting. Much of the day was spent preparing for Katie's party. We also had small valentine gifts for the girls to open, and my parents sent them each a book as well. The highlight of my day, as with most holidays, was not having to cook supper. :) We ordered to-go meals from Chili's, and it was DELICIOUS!
What a great idea to get the kids a balloon for Valentines!!
ReplyDeleteThey loved it! Katie was actually more interested in the flowers than I thought she would be. We talked about the colors, their names, and she helped me pull out the browning ones when their times came and rearrange what was left. What a good helper!
