Happy Father's Day

A little quiz for you:

Now, for round two:

Name your 5 favorite teachers.
Name 5 people that you enjoy spending free time with.
Name 5 people that you call to share good news with.
Name 5 people who have lifted you up when you've had hard times.
Name 5 people who are always there for you.


If you look at your answers from round two, odds are you named your dad in some or all of those categories. This little exercise that we went through in church was to prove that although some people become famous for a while, it's the everyday people who make the most powerful impact on our lives. I know that is certainly true for me.

Thank you, Dad, for teaching me so many things. For being so fun to hang out with. For being there to share in my joy when something exciting happens. For being there to pick me up when I'm struggling. And most importantly, just for being there. You are truly one of a kind!
